Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. She earned her degree at The University of Missouri Columbia with a degree in Communications and theater. Her career began in Los Angeles as a theater performer and choreographer, choreographing around 20 plays and musicals. The most notable of these were The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. In addition she played 7 titles at Los Angeles' Storybook Theatre. Kelly was able to secure roles in television and films as she studied improvisation at The Groundlings. Her distinctive voice and small size has enabled her to play a variety of characters. The actress is well known for her role alongside Naomi Watts taking over the role as the evil Samara in The Ring 2 but is most well-known as the bubbly bright receptionist of Two and a Half Men. Kelly played a part in the main character on TV Land's The Exes which she was the role of a party-hopper as well as a paralegal in the time of the day. Alyssa Mio's sassy sexpert, little sister was Kelly's regular character on ABC Romantically Challenged. No Tomorrow on the CW included her in the role of the stressed-out suburban mother. The soprano voice of hers has been used in several animated series like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Her most recent performance was that of the dim and charming Cloud 9 staffer on NBC popular comedy Superstore. She lives a quiet private life, with her husband, and their two little kids. She enjoys sewing and helping out at school events.
