Steven Tyler

Steven TylerAfter spending time on the Boston club circuit under the guidance of their first manager Frank Connelly, the band began to work together with New York managers Steve Leber and David Krebs. In 1972 they signed a recording contract and released their debut album. The album was followed by Get Your Wings. Toys in the Attic. Rocks. And Draw the Line. These albums have helped Aerosmith achieve international fame. The albums produced legendary hits like "Dream On", Walk This Way, "Sweet Emotion" and "Walk This Way". Aerosmith's first five albums also all gone multi-platinum, as well as Toys in the Attic and Rocks are considered to be among the greatest hard rock albums ever made. As time went on, however, the band's hectic lifestyle of performing, recording and living together started to wear the band down. Tyler and Perry were often referred to as Toxic Twins, for their legendary intake of stimulants and heroin. Aerosmith Behind the Music has several videos that illustrate their relationship. Tyler appeared more committed to Aerosmith than Perry and had a resentment of Perry for her passive behavior. Perry, on the other hand, was envious of Tyler's importance to females throughout his life. The gradual decline of Aerosmith was most likely because of the tension between Tyler and Perry and their former friends.
